Usha Gap campsite is nestled in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
Firepits are available (no charge), and so you can enjoy a campfire under the Dark Skies of North Yorkshire.
The campsite is based on a working farm. Note that the site doesnโt yet have Electric Hook-ups though please check the Usha Gap website as that may change very soon.
Thereโs also a 2 bedroom cottage available.
We visited the Usha Gap campsite while trying a bit of Bike-Packing with Stage 1 Cycles.
We had set off from The Firebox Cafe in Hawes, cycled over The Buttertubs, and down to the campsite.
That night we ate at The Farmers Arms in Muker, which is just a short stroll from the campsite, and then came back and had a campfire.

Having a campfire at the Usha Gap Campsite. Firepits are available at the campsite and so is firewood.
The facilities at the campsite were clean and new. They were in a converted stone barn, one of the many that can be found in this part of the Dales.

The views from the campsite look straight down the Swale Dale.
