Not far from L'Alpe d'Huez, made famous from the epic bike race, Le Tour de France, is Le Belledonne Campsite. Set in the French Alps, in Les Ecrins National Park, you'll find mountains, waterfalls, and rushing rivers right your doorstep.

After exploring this Alpine outdoor playground, you can relax in La Belledonne Campsite, which has a pool complex and even a sauna.

In addition to the swimming pools, the activities at the campsite consist of:

  • Table Tennis
  • Football
  • Volleyball
  • Boules

There are also two playgrounds.

Other activities, such as Horse Riding or Rafting, are off-site with an additional fee.

Eurocamp Accommodation consists of 5 and 6-person safari tents or 2 bedroom static caravans. You can also book camping pitches. There are 180 pitches at Le Belledonne.

Facilities Details

There's a Kids' pool as well as a larger family pool. The outdoor pools may be closed in low season or bad weather. Sunloungers are available around the pool. There's also a poolside bar. There is a charge for the sauna and steam room. Wifi is only available in parts of the campsite and is chargeable. There is an on-site mini-market, a takeaway, and a restaurant (these may be closed out of season). The Animation team is only available during the school summer holidays.
