Between Lake Windermere and Coniston Water, you'll find Grizedale Valley, and at Bowkerstead Farm, you'll find Grizedale Campsite.
Grizedale Campsite has (non-electric) grass pitches, with showers and washup area. Campfires are allowed, though you must purchase the wood from their Farm Shop.
If you don't fancy in taking your tent, you can also find a Bunk Barn, Yurts, and Camping Pods at the campsite.
Just 1.5 miles away is the Grizedale Visitor Centre where you can hire bikes. And four miles north is Hawkshead village. Footpaths and cycle paths are right next to the campsite.
