Lakeland Leisure Park
The Lakeland Leisure Park in the Lake District overlooks Morecambe Bay and is surrounded by peaks, and of course, lakes. There are 177 flat grass pitches, and since this is a Haven holiday park, you also have indoor and outdoor pools, water sports, golf, entertainment, and many other activities available.
Our Review
We enjoyed a great few days staying at the Haven Lakeland Leisure Park.
Once again, we booked a Haven Euro Pitch for our caravan, so we had running water straight to the caravan with no need to keep filling up the Aquaroll :-)

This Haven touring site also caters for tents, and there are two camping fields.

The main camping field
The touring area has its own reception. We had our Leisure Passes all ready in a welcome envelope at the touring reception, so there was no need to rush to the main reception to get them. Also, the main reception gets very busy, but the touring reception is very quick to check in (last check-in time is 6 pm).

The touring area has its own reception. Our Leisure Passes were in the welcome pack when we checked in.
The touring reception also contains a freezer for your ice packs.

If you are camping, there's a freezer for your ice blocks in the touring reception
You also have a choice of two toilet and shower blocks in the camping fields.

There's a chip shop van that visits the camping area, plus the main centre is very close by.
If you are not camping or in a caravan or motorhome, then there are plenty of static caravans to choose from. We saw this one by the lake. It looks stunning, but I suspect outside our budget!

These great looking cabins have their own jetty on the lake.
As for activities, there are lots to choose from.
We tried the Segways, Junior Segways, Paddleboarding, Kayak, and hired a buggy to pedal around the park. Not bad for a few days!
The beach access is a little restricted, and you must watch the tides, as you'd be cut off from the park at high tide. However, there is the main lake, Otter Lake, at the park, complete with pedalos.

There’s a nature trail that takes you around the park.

Look no hands! The junior segways are controlled by the legs only.

The Bay wraps around part of the park. We didn’t find any access to the beach though.

A nice little sun trap at our caravan awning, plus some shade for the dog
