For five hundred years, Spynie Palace was a bishops palace. It contains St David's tower, the largest surviving tower house to survive in Scotland. And although this was meant to be a palace for bishops, it has gun holes. These bishops were ready for a fight!

There are a few spooky stories with this castle too. Take a photo in the tower and see if you can see a phantom skull that appears in people's pictures.
