The Craghoppers Kiwi Pro II is a great pair of trousers for being active outdoors.
I’ve been using Craghoppers clothes for years.
It’s been a long time since I last bought a pair of Craghoppers trousers, since mine have just kept going, and going. So much so, that my Craghoppers adventure trousers are very different from their latest kit. Fortunately, Craghoppers sent me over a pair of their latest Kiwi Pro II trousers to try.
Recycled, and Stretchy
It’s great to see all that recycling finally making its way back into products, and that’s exactly what Craghoppers have done, with 280 grams of recycled material in every pair.
Even the ‘plastic’ bag they came in was recycled and biodegradable.
You wouldn’t notice they use recycled materials from the feel of them though. The fabric is quite soft to the touch and feels great when on. They also have stretch built into the weave, which is ideal when you are active outdoors. These trousers won’t restrict you when jumping over streams or scrambling up rocks.
All of the pockets have zips, keeping things like keys and your phone safe.
Each zip has some cord attached, making them easier to open, and is especially helpful if you are wearing gloves.
One pocket even contains a glasses wipe!
As well as being a stretchy fabric, it’s also been coated for additional protection.
This includes the Craghoppers SmartDry Eco technology so that drops of water will bead and roll off the trousers, helping you stay dry for longer. They are also treated to protect you from the sun with Craghoppers SolarSheild (UPF 40+).
As you might tell, I really like the Craghoppers Kiwi Pro II trousers, and they’ve been great when out hiking in them. I’m sure these are going to last for a long time too 🙂
