Kenilworth’s Castle’s 900-year history saw it as a medieval fortress to an Elizabethan palace.
Now it’s a great day out to take the kids (voted one of the top 10 English Heritage family attractions).
You can visit the tower that Leceister built to woo Queen Elizabeth I, or visit the much older Normal Keep, and then take the kids to the stables to see the family-friendly displays of castle life.
Typical cost for a family
If you plan on visiting a couple of English Heritage places with the kids within a year, then consider getting a Family Membership. You’ll then be able to visit as many English Heritage places as you wish for Free.
A family membership typically costs less than a visit to two places.
