There are 50000 acres of forest to explore with 30 miles of bike and walking trails through one of the country’s largest lowland pine forests. There’s also Go Ape.
The famous Go Ape Treetop Challenge extends for 739 metres, including a 140-metre zip wire.
However, at Thetford, even smaller adventurer’s can get in on the action with the Treetop Adventure course. These are for around ages 6 to 12 years old, but anyone over 1 metre can do it if you think they’re brave enough.
If heights aren’t your thing, you could always have a go at the Forest Segways and scoot along the forest floor. Weight restrictions apply on the Segways as you need to be heavy enough, but not too heavy, for the Segways to balance.
You can also find plenty of walking routes and bike trails at Thetford Forest, and if you can’t bring your bikes, you can hire some there.
