Not a day out, but worth a visit if you are passing by.

The Lligwy Burial Chamber was a neolithic construction, and when excavated in 1909, the remains of 15-30 people were found.

The stone that rests on top is huge, and estimated to be around 25 tonnes.  How on earth did they get that in place back in Neolithic times?

What’s in the area?
