The ‘Fleet Air Arm’ is the flying part of the Royal Navy, and this is their museum in Somerset.
At the museum you have the history and development of naval aircraft, World War 2 aircraft, an aircraft carrier, and even the first British concorde.
Visit an aircraft carrier
You enter the aircraft carrier via a mock flight in a Wessex helicopter and land on the flight deck representation of HMS Ark Royal with aircraft around you. After watching some Phantoms take off, you can wander around parts of the aircraft carrier.
Watch a rescue operation as a Buccaneer is lost over the side.
A number of special events are run at the Fleet Air Arm Museum through out the year. You can see what’s on at their website.
Tickets and Opening Times
A family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) was £38, and under 5’s are free.
When we last checked the Museum was accepting Tesco Vouchers, but not on special event days.
During the Summer it is open daily between 10am and 5:30 pm.
Please check their web site for the latest prices and opening times.
