The Black Horse is a cosy Buckinghamshire Pub in the heart of the Chilterns which is a registered night stop.

The pub is a short walk from the quaint village of Great Missenden, train station and the Roald Dahl Museum.

Many stay with us and then travel to LEGOLAND or to London.

We are located on 4 acres of land. You can stay in our field or on our hard standing all year round.

There is fresh water and toilet facilities available but no electric hook up. Plus, it’s only £10 per tent or van per night or FREE if you eat in.

Real ales, fresh homemade menu, playground, and gardens.

The Black Horse has its own Hot Air Balloon Club that fly from the field if the weather is right. That’s something the kids might love to see.

Campfires are allowed but must be contained.
