PROS:
  • Lots of living space with flexible options for arranging your tent. This is great for family holidays.
  • Large darkened bedrooms with Quick and Quiet entrance.
  • Bug mesh door.
  • Easy pitching.
  • Good hydrostatic head.
CONS:
  • Personally, I think the dividing screen between the bedrooms could be thicker, but this is only a minor preference.
  • I also think this tent a little too large if you just camp for one night. You will want to spend a few nights to make the most of it.

  • You can fit a stove flue, without needing to cut a hole in your tent.
  • Easy to pitch.

CONS:
  • This style of tent is not for everyone, such as the lack of inner tent as standard. If you do get the inner tent, you cannot use a stove in the tent.

PROS:
  • The BlackOut bedrooms are very effective.
  • Good ventilation with bug mesh on all entrances and windows.
  • Good layout, including some storage space and a hanging rail.
  • The tent felt well made and good quality.
CONS:
  • Steel poles, although strong, can make pitching heavy and don't always slide apart easily when putting the tent away.
  • It doesn't have a great 'rain-safe' entrance, but you can use something like the Coleman Classic Awning for that.

CONS:
  • Not got anything bad to say about it really, though do consider the weight of this tent when pitching and transporting to the campsite. It will need at least two of you to pitch. There is an inflatable alternative option.

We've used this tent on many camps now, and it's not let us down through wind, rain, and sunshine. The pitching time is fantastic, coupled with Outwell's easy pegging system, means that the whole family can get involved. PROS:
  • A good-sized affordable steel frame tent that you can use for weekend camping or for family camping holidays (especially with the addition of the Da Gama extension).
CONS:
  • Not too many bad points with this tent. The Hydrostatic Head is only 3000mm, but we found no problem with this despite being in a thunderstorm with torrential rain.
