Hotels near LEGOLand Windsor

LEGOLand at Windsor is a great family day out and fantastic for younger kids… but not all of us live near Windsor.  Here’s some suggested hotels that are near LEGOLand Windsor.

We’ve been to LEGOLand Windsor a number of times and can recommend as a great family day out, especially if you have younger kids (teenagers may prefer the larger Thorpe Park).  You can read our review of LEGOLand Windsor here.

However, we don’t live near LEGOLand, and so have to find hotels.

Fortunately you can find some really good combined Hotel and 2 Day Tickets to the park, with often the second day free.

We’ve had successful stays with both LEGOLand Holidays and Superbreak, both making booking easy and finding a good hotel.

Our Top 3 LEGOLand Windsor Hotels

We’ve been lucky to stay at a few great hotels near LEGOLand Windsor.  Here’s our top 3:

1. Crowne Plaza Heathrow – this was an excellent ‘posh’ hotel.  We went after a week in Cornwall and it was world’s apart.  Getting to LEGOLand was quite straightforward as there’s good road networks near Heathrow.
   There was no significant noise from planes taking off or landing.
2. Crowne Plaza Marlow – another great Crowne Plaza hotel.  The approach to this hotel is through an industrial estate, but don’t let that put you off.  This was quite a premiere stay, and had a great outdoor garden, where they’d put out games for kids.
   To show how posh it was, someone landed their helicopter there!  Even so, the kids were made welcome and still received their LEGOLand welcome packs.  We also had a cot plus two other kids in the room, and still had plenty of space.
3. Holiday Inn Maidenhead – this is smaller than the Crowne Plaza hotels, but perfectly acceptable.  The family room had a fold out bed and kids ate for free when we visited.
