Northumberland – Hareshaw Linn Falls

This is a route provided to us by the site managers when we stayed at the Bellingham Camping and Caravanning Club campsite.
You’ll need a couple of hours to do this walk but it should be easily achievable by most families.

You start off at the campsite and then head down to the village of Bellingham, walking alongside the North Tyne river for a while, before cutting through the village and then starting the walk proper.
The walk takes you through a forest. Some of it is paved, but other parts are very muddy if it has been wet.
You pass a few small waterfalls on the way up the valley, but eventually, you will reach the waterfall, which is quite impressive and not the usual thing you see at the end of the forest walk.
