Our Review
Have you ever wondered what happened to all those plastic bottles your family has been recycling? Well, perhaps, some of them made their way into the Vango Joro Air 600XL, a large inflatable tent that's ideal for family camping holidays and made from Vango's Sentinel Eco fabric.
Tent Layout
The tent has a great layout for family camping.

There are two living zones, with an enclosed porch, inner living space, and a row of three double bedrooms at the back.
Let's look at each area in more detail.
The Porch

Porch Features (Image Credit: Vango)
The porch is a good size. Easily enough for chairs to sit out of the wind or rain.
The blinds in the porch toggle up and can be toggled at half-height if you want more privacy.
The porch's front door can be opened up and rolled away, ideal for days when the family are coming and going, or you are cooking and eating.
However, if the weather is not as good, you could completely leave the porch door closed or just half-open.

You can have the porch door fully unzipped, or just half-open, like this, providing a little more shelter from the weather (Photo Credit: Vango)
We rate tents higher with a built-in porch as they are convenient for family camping. This creates a wet-dry zone, where wet coats and muddy boots can be left to dry without bringing them into your nice clean tent :-)
The Inner Living Space
Access to the inner living space is by another door. This door can be unzipped and rolled back, closed, or closed with a bug-free mesh to keep insects out of the inner sanctum of the tent.
The entrance to this part of the tent has a groundsheet that can lay flat so that you don't trip each time you walk in and out of the tent (I dislike tents that make me trip over. Despite the decades of camping, I still do it!)

The inner living space is massive, providing plenty of space for camping furniture. This is ideal for longer camping stays, such as family holidays, as you need to bring more clothes for the kids, so storage becomes necessary.
Off the side of this living area is another door. This has a bug-free mesh, so on hot days, you can open it to let the airflow through the tent, but without getting bugs inside.
A couple of accessories worth mentioning are the carpet and side awning. We recommend getting the carpet for this living space to make it feel much warmer and nicer underfoot. As well as quieter to walk on.
If you need even more space and another wet/dry zone, an optional side awning fits to this tent. Some people even use the side awnings to put a camping toilet!
The Bedrooms
At the back of the tent are three darkened bedrooms. There is a toggled divider, so you could remove it and make a larger bedroom.
The layout gives you plenty of options. If you have kids that need to be kept apart, they could be placed on either side of mum and dad's room, for example.
