Our Review
There's no doubting the Gruffalo's popularity.
As well as a good story, it could also have the effect of making your local woods more exciting to little ones, yet not scary. After all, the Gruffalo may at first appear scary, but he isn't really.
Certainly the Forestry Commission has taken that to heart, with Gruffalo trails and activities in a number of places. (Click here for Gruffalo forest trails)
For that additional bit of outdoor inspiration for little legs, LitteLife has introduced the Gruffalo Toddler and Kids Backpacks.
With our youngest a little bit too big, we sent it this new kid's backpack over to another family to review.

The Gruffalo backpack was an instant hit with our little one
The Gruffalo backpack was an instant hit with our little one. She wanted to immediately wear it around the house. The first proper outing was in the Forest of Dean (big Gruffalo country apparently). She wore it the whole hike and was handy to store her gloves and hat.
really well made and high quality
The bag itself is really well made and high quality. It is really very soft and tactile.
It comes with detachable reins if you need then (although we didn’t really test these, as our little one is a bit big for that).
The bag is big enough to be useful, yet not too big that it gets overfilled and become too heavy for the child. You can easily get a drink and some snacks or a hat, gloves and scarf.
machine washable
It is machine washable, which is great and means you don’t have to worry when they are adventuring.
It is now our little girl's regular preschool backpack for the morning and afternoon walk and proudly hangs on the hat stand in our hall!
Suitable for early walkers up to around 3 or 4, depending on the size of your child.
