The Extreme Ambush Kit from BattleBox is a complete set every kid needs for hiding and scaring adults and friends.

The Ultimate Den Kit

The Ultimate Den Kit from My Adventure Kit contains a lot of items found in the Dangerous Den Kit.

Kids Army Den Making Kit

You can also get a kids army den making kit on Amazon.

The set comes complete with Ghillie Suit, which includes a jacket, trousers, hat and additional camo for weapons. This suit is effective and is a similar design that special forces use to remain undetected.

Of course, then comes the weapons:

• A catapult along with marshmallows for firing.
• Stink Bombs
• Snaps
• Exploding bomb bags

The set also came with the Stick Book (see Outdoor Books for Kids) but has recently been changed for the Little Book of Whittling (see our review here).

The set is great in the back garden, when kids come around, picnics or day camps, or a good addition to camping at the more wilder campsites.

So what did the kids think?

Excellent.

The entire kit arrived in a box, and is put together very well. The kids really enjoyed opening it and delving inside.

The kit was great fun too.  Ideally combined with the Bear Grylls Dangerous Den Kit  for the ultimate hide out.
