Our Opinion of the Skandika Flagstaff
The Flagstaff from Skandika makes a good-budget family tent. It has two sleeping pods not located next to one another. This provides additional privacy for adults and gives the kids their space - as long as they don't mind sharing.
Although designed for eight people, four adults in each pod would probably be tight. However, 3 kids in a pod have no problems, leaving the parents with plenty of space in theirs.
A central living area is high for a dome tent but not as high as many tunnel tents. However, it should be adequate enough if you need somewhere to shelter, eat, and store gear.
The Flagstaff also has an entrance porch, a little more sheltered accommodation, and a good entrance when raining. If you would rather have more living space than a sleeping area, you might be interested in the Skandika Saturn 6.
