Our Review
If you like the DNA of Robens tents, but want a more traditional family tent, then the Robens Eagle Rock TC 6+2XP tent is one to consider.
The 'TC' stands for technical cotton. This is the Robens HydroTex Polycotton rip-stop material, which is a mix of polyester and cotton, giving that more natural canvas-feel to the tent, but with a lot of the benefits of modern tent fabrics. Unlike normal polyester, the Robens HydroTex Polycotton is breathable.
Bedroom Flexibility
The 6+2 in the tent's name refers to the bedroom arrangements of this tent. At the back of the tent are two 3-berth bedrooms, sleeping up to 6 people. There is also an optional double bedroom that you can place in the tent's living area, giving you flexibility if you need an additional bedroom during some of your camping trips.

But the bedroom flexibility doesn't end there.
The main bedrooms use the 'adaptive inner', allowing you to remove a bedroom at the back of the tent. This may be ideal if you need additional living or storage space. For example, if you have an expensive bike, you would rather store it inside your tent than out.

Outside the Tent
On the outside of the tent, you've got the large door at the front and to the side. Both entrances have mesh to help keep the bugs out.
Another great feature is the porch area, which provides some shelter when sitting outside your tent, and also makes it easier to get in and out of your tent if it rains.
The front porch provides a great additional shelter when enjoying the outdoors.
Transporting and Pitching
