Our Review
We looked at the Outwell Parkdale 4PA last year, and this time we're looking at it's bigger sibling: the Outwell Parkdale 6PA.
If you are looking for a family tent with lots of space for a family summer camping holiday, then the Outwell Parkdale 6PA is definitely worth considering.
Tent Layout
This is a 6-person tent, though, in our view, it's ideal for parents with two older kids who want their own bedrooms, or a few groups of younger kids who don't mind sharing. There's plenty of options with the three bedrooms. You can remove the divider between the bedrooms, make one large bedroom, or a large bedroom and one smaller room.

The tent has three double bedrooms, an internal living space, and a large porch living space (Image credit: Outwell)
Tent Bedrooms
The bedrooms are darkened to help with a better night's sleep, and this tent has the Outwell Premier bedrooms. Premier bedrooms are slightly larger than regular tent bedrooms, have storage pockets and mains cable entry for lights and chargers.

Living Area
A significant feature of the Outwell Parkdale 6PA is the living space.
Outside the bedrooms, you have the inner-sanctum of the tent. We recommend buying the carpet for this area to make the tent feel warmer underfoot and more like home.
Porch / Living Area 2
In addition to this inner area, you have a huge porch area.

The photo above shows the porch open with the front door rolled back, and also the entrance to the inner-sanctum again rolled up. You can see just how much space you get with this tent.
We really like porch areas like this as they are so practical for family camping as they provide a great place to sit and eat, whatever the weather. It doesn't matter if people have wet or muddy shoes either, and it provides an excellent spot to hang wet coats to dry.
Plus, if the weather is nice but might rain overnight, it's quick and easy to bring any chairs into the tent's porch.
Flexible Doors
As you can see in the photo above, the door arrangements are very flexible, plus you have mesh to keep the bugs from entering the inner part of the tent. This internal partition door also uses the excellent Outwell Quick and Quiet door mechanism. This is quieter than zips (great for opening doors at night), but it also makes it quick to enter, and the doors self-close behind you. We found this great at helping keep the bugs out.
If you want more on the door configurations, watch Outwell's video below.

Pitching
The Outwell Parkdale 6PA is part of Outwell's PowerAir range of inflatable tents.
You pump up each inflatable tube of the tent to get it pitched. The tent comes with a fantastic hand pump. So there's no messing around with tent poles.
To make pitching even more straightforward, it also uses the colour-coded Outwell Pegging System.

The Outwell Pegging System helps make pitching easier. Silver pegs in the silver loops at each corner of the tent, inflate/insert poles, black pegs through black loops at the bottom of the tent, and luminous pegs for the bright guy lines.
When packed, this tent is 82 cm long, so measure your car boot space to ensure it fits. It weighs just over 27kg, so ideally it will need two adults to lift it out of the car boot.

Alternatives
If you like this tent but want a little more living space, then have a look at the Outwell Pinedale 6PA, which is a very similar tent, but with the addition of a wing lounge.
