Our Review

The Outwell Middleton 8A is the big brother of the Outwell Middleton 5A and also sports the distinctive gothic arch design.

This is a very big tent, which is ideal for the larger or older family as it comes with four double bedrooms.

Though do note that two of the bedrooms are smaller than the other. The smaller rooms will be ideal if you have a couple of teenagers or older children, giving them a good sized room each.

Of course, the dividers can be removed between the bedrooms, and so if Mum and Dad want a huge bedroom, that's possible too :-)

An aspect of this tent I like a lot is the very practical front porch area, providing a rain-safe entrance, and somewhere to keep muddy shoes and wet coats, as well as to provide useful extended living space.

At the rear of the living space is a large gothic-arched window. This can also be unzipped and used as another door, providing a good through-draught of air to help keep the tent cool on warm summer days and nights.

The tent is inflatable too, so you won't need to mess around with tent poles. Simply inflate each of the air frame's tubes. You can get an approved electric pump to make setting up this tent even easier.

This is a large tent, and so it may not be that practical for just a night or two's camping, unless you have a camping trailer or van, and help to lift it in and out.
