I rate the Outwell Middleton 5A highly for family practicality due to the large enclosed porch area that comes with this tent.
This makes a very good all-weather entrance to the tent and provides somewhere to leave muddy boots and wet coats, and is also a great place to prep food, or just sit out of a cold breeze.
In the summer, you could simply unzip the divider between the porch and the living space to bring more of the outdoors in. Or, if you prefer, keep the divider there to keep the bugs out of your tent.
