We’ve been testing out this Expedition Duffle from Lifeventure. A good sized, sturdy bag, that’s reasonably priced too.
Bags may not be the most exciting bit of it kit to get…but you sure notice them when they let you down.
We’ve got through many bags and holdalls. Many can’t keep up with all our activities and adventures.
The guys over at Lifeventure sent us one of their Lifeventure Expedition Duffle bags to try out.
The Expedition Duffle is a massive 100 litres in capacity.
We found no problem stuffing it with Self Inflating Mats and Sleeping Bags on our camping trips.
It’s also a good size for transporting all our buoyancy aids for canoeing, and I’m sure well also find a use for wetsuits and other gear when surfing later this year 😉
Bags have to take a lot of wear and tear with us. It’s not that we’re careless (honest!), but as with most families, the car tends to get stuffed with all five of us taking things.
The Expedition Duffle is made from thick, tough fabric with extra re-enforcement. It certainly looks tough, and it’s already put up with a lot of use and abuse, and still looks new.
We were also surprised that it didn’t cost a fortune either, having spent a similar amount on other holdalls in the past that were nowhere near as rugged as this one.
So, if you’re looking for a large bag for your family travels and adventures, check out the Lifeventure Expedition Duffle. It gets the thumbs up from us.
- A good sized bag that looks strong and well made.
- It's not completely waterproof, but we had no problem with things staying dry during showers and light splashes of water.
