Keeping dry and warm makes the outdoors enjoyable, whatever the weather.
Keela sent us over their Women’s Storm Jacket to review. So with cold winter winds and weather, we took it up the hills to try it out.
Some Keela Women’s Storm Jacket Features I Liked

The Keela Storm Women’s Jacket has thumb looks to help keep the sleeves over your wrists.

There is a front zipped waterproof pocket. This has a long toggle so that it is easy to open when wearing gloves.

A handy addition to the coat is this waterproof pocket on the back of the coat. Ideal for snacks, maps, or other larger items. It has a toggle on the zip, making it easy to reach and unfasten.

The pockets are zipped, though I found these didn’t have a long toggle, making them harder to open with gloves on.

The hood has a velcro roll-up strap for when not in use. so that it doesn’t flap around.
Jacket Feature’s
- A more flattering fit for women that some other waterproofs.
- Waterproof & Breathable
- 3-way adjustable hood. The hood is large enough to fit over your bike helmet.
- 2 zipped hip pockets
- Zipped chest pocket
- Zipped back pocket. This is great when out on the bikes.
- Hook and loop adjustable cuffs
- Active cut with scooped back. This is meant to help with drips if it rains while you are on your bike.
- Reflective trim
- Water-resistant centre front zip
- Lightweight
- Different colours.
- Also available in a Men’s cut.
This jacket has become my new go-to jacket for running…the fact that it is compact means I can easily fit it in my backpack when I’m up on the hills and feel prepared for a change of weather!! I love the berry colour, not too bright but enough of a colour to feel stylish and on-trend!
It’s lightweight, comfortable and no movement restrictions.
I found the pockets to be a good size. I was able to fit my gloves in them when I started to work up a sweat!
My only gripe is the zip to the pockets. The toggle on them is short and slippy, and with cold hands, I found it difficult to unzip the front pockets. This was not so much of an issue with the back pocket as it has a longer toggle with more of a grip.
In summary, a great technical jacket with lots of features makes getting outside more enjoyable and safe.
