Our Review
Our Kampa Junior Air Bed, all boxed up
We use the Kampa AirLock Junior Airbed for our youngest child and have found this is a great air bed for kids.
It's slightly shorter than a regular single air bed, and slightly wider too.
The Kampa Airlock Junior has raised sides so that your child doesn't roll onto the cold floor of your tent
The big benefit of this air bed is that it has raised sides. We've found that our little one would roll off a normal air bed - despite giving him a double that fills his sleeping pod! And we want him to stay in his bed where it is well insulated.
The simple design approach of the AirLock bed keeps little ones within the safe insulated area.
The bed is also flocked and quite comfortable.
Inflating the Kampa Airlock Junior Airbed
The air bed comes with two valves. The first valve inflates the base of the air bed. This is just a regular small air valve.
Kampa Airlock Airbed's large valve makes inflating and deflating quick.
The main valve on the junior airbed inflates the raised sides.
This is the valve that has the airlock and comes in two parts.

Push the black part of the valve into the hole.

Inflating the Kampa Airlock Junior Airbed
Insert a pump with a large adaptor and inflate.
For the photo, we used our Sevylor Hand Pump, but it will also inflate with our Coleman 12v pump.
Deflating the Junior Airbed
The Kampa airbed is really quick to deflate.
Simply go to the large valve and pull out the black piece. Air will flow out really quickly.
Extras
In the box, you also get a small repair kit, with material and glue.
