The Helly Hansen Sport II buoyancy aid is suitable for adults and teenagers and is a good price - which helps get your family on the water.
The Sport II buoyancy aid from Helly Hansen comes in several different sizes.
Although this is an adult buoyancy aid, the smaller sizes are ideal 'youth' sizes, and we bought this buoyancy aid for our teenage daughter.
This is a basic buoyancy aid, but it does the job. It's very affordable too - something we're very conscious of as getting a family on the water involves shelling out for kit for many people.
This buoyancy aid, with front zip and buckle, is easy to put on.
It's also comfortable and more 'trendy' for the fashion-conscious teenager. "It's comfy and stylish", were her words.
The Sport II is lightweight and designed for unrestrictive movement around the arms, so great for paddling a canoe or kayak or for a sailer.

The sizes range from 40kg right up to 90+kg, and it is available in Red, Navy, or Yellow.
We recommend red or yellow, as navy is harder to spot and could make rescue more difficult.
