Our Review
When we first used a caravan with an awning, I was impressed with the awning carpets.
You could place these down on the wet and muddy ground, and they'd provide excellent underfoot protection.
They can lay across the grass without killing it.
Water can pass straight through to the ground underneath.
And although they are not fabric, they are warm enough underfoot.
Why wasn't this style of carpet available for tent camping?
To me, camping was missing out.
We often use a tent with a porch or put up a tarp shelter.
Using a caravan awning-style carpet for the tent porch is much better than the traditional tent groundsheet.
So, when I saw Easy Camp had introduced such a solution, I just had to try them out.
The Easy Camp Moonlight Carpets
If you are unaware, Easy Camp has a great collection of glamping-style tents, such as the Easy Camp Moonlight Cabin.
They have designed two Easy Camp Moonlight Carpets to go with those tents: the Easy Camp Moonlight Round Carpet and the Easy Camp Moonlight Square Carpet (though it's actually rectangular, not square).
These are just like those caravan awning-style carpets but in a more manageable camping-friendly size.
And you don't need an Easy Camp tent to use them. They are a great addition to any tent.

The Easy Camp Moonlight Round Carpet

This is the smaller of the two, with a diameter of 150 cm.
It's decorative enough for inside your tent and works well under a porch or tarp shelter.
The inverse of the pattern is underneath, so you can turn it over for a different look.

Not square, but rectangular, measuring 200 x 150 cm.
This is probably the more practical of the two carpets. (RRP £38.99).
Again, you can turn the carpet over for a different look.
