Our Review

Small backpacks have certainly come a long way. Now you can get features that used to be found on much larger hiking bags.

The good news for us parents is that we can have a more versatile backpack for getting out with the kids without the bulk and weight of a large backpack.

That's what I thought when I saw the new Easy Camp Companion 30. Kindly, Easy Camp, agree to send me one over to review :-)

The Easy Camp Companion 30 Backpack

As the name suggests, the Companion 30 is a 30-litre bag. This is a good size for a daysack for hikes, days out, and cycle rides for most adults.

In addition to the large interior, which has a double layer at the top, there are lots of other handy pockets, including two side pockets for water bottles, a large pocket ideal for waterproofs, and an easy-access top pocket, which includes a key hook.

I have already used this bag several times, but the big test is when I take it backpacking. :-D
