The Coast is a quirky little concept from Easy Camp, a beach umbrella with the addition of side walls. Ok, that may sound a bit strange, so how does it work?
The Easy Camp Coast comes in this carry case, which is about the same size as a beach umbrella.
Here's what you get inside the carry case...which is a bit more than a normal beach umbrella
Here's the groundsheet for the Coast
The umbrella has velcro around the sides, which attaches to the groundsheet.
You can use this as a normal beach umbrella or you can attach the groundsheet
You fasten the groundsheet with velcro
There are pockets on the flysheet which you can fill with sand to add more stability.
Fill the pockets with sand so it doesn't blow away on a windy beach
A couple of sand pegs are provided too.
Use the supplied pegs to help keep it anchored
I found it very easy to set up by myself, taking minutes, much quicker than setting up a windbreak.

If the wind changes, it's straightforward to adjust quickly.
Now it was a very calm day when I tested it, so can't comment yet on how it handles more blustery conditions.
The most obvious use for the Coast is at the beach, but it could also be of use at a campsite to provide a bit of shade. The umbrella can just be used on its own and come with a pole to allow you to do this.
It works really well with the Easy Camp Sun Orange Glow folding sunbed...which we use often ;-)
The bright contemporary colour adds a bit of fun to a beach, garden, camping adventure.
