You might find the choice of backpacks and daysacks on the market a little overwhelming. Just what is the best one to buy? Well, after much searching, we bought ourselves the Deuter Speed Lite 20L for getting out with the kids. Read on to find out why.
Pockets, lots of pockets!
As you can see from our photo above, the Deuter Speed Lite 20 can be loaded with the kids’ bottles. We found the Deuter Speed Lite had great storage for grabbing things while on the go, without having to open the bag and rummage in side.

It’s very light and comfortable to wear
With nothing in it, the Deuter Speed Lite 20 is very light.
The backpack fits well and is easily adjusted.
The 20 Litre storage has proved good enough for a day out.
It has straps if you need to clip extra onto the bag, such as wet raincoats. The big pocket on the front is designed to carry wet rain coats.
Easy to use
The loop on the zip makes it very easy to get in and out of the bag, even with gloves on. These are well made and the zip opens and closes easily without catching on any material.
There’s also a useful pocket on the top for valuables or smaller items, making them easy to grab without having to rummage through the back pack.
The straps on the backpack are easily adjustable and come with both a chest and waist strap. You can also clip a hydration line to the strap.
