Lightweight windproof top, which does amazingly well at blocking out the wind.
It doesn't look much but I've found it works really well.
We've given the Dare 2B Men's Enkindle II Windshell Jacket the Thumbs Up award.
- Easy to store
- Blocks wind
- Easy to move in
The not so good
- Note: it's not a full waterpoof
This was a hands-on product review.
Dare 2B Men's Enkindle II Windshell Jacket Photos
With the colder weather moving in, I went to our local GoOutdoors store and bought this Dare 2B Men's Enkindle II Windshell Jacket, mainly for cycling.
It's a lightweight jacket that you can throw over most tops, and ideal for cycling along, keeping the cold chill of the air and wind away.
The Enkindle II isn't fully waterproof, though it is water-repellent. It's worked well in drizzle and splashes from muddy puddles, but it's not designed for riding in the pouring rain.
The collar zips right up to help keep the chilled air out and has a discreet zipped pocket.
I've been very impressed with this jacket.
The material looks too thin to keep the wind out, but it does it well. I've been using it for a few months on blustery hills and through muddy forest trails. I've also used it on Segways at The Edge.
As with many technical fabrics, you need to take note of the washing and drying instructions.
This lightweight jacket certainly gets the Thumbs Up.
