This is a nice gentle walk around the Cole Mere Lake in Shropshire.
There is a car park at the start and end of this circular walk. Just by the car park is a grassy picnic area.

Cole Mere is on a family cycle route, however, you cannot cycle around this route as only parts of it are open to bikes.

Shropshire

Grinshill in Shropshire isn't particularly high, but it provides good views and a great walk.

This walk takes you from the wooded car park of Corbett Wood and up to the summit of Grinshill. 
After reaching the top and taking in the views, you carry on around the hill, and eventually return to the car park in this circular walk.

This is a circular route around Nescliffe. 
You can either walk or cycle this route as it is on bridleways, though if you cycle, you will have to detour some parts, such as bypass the old Iron Age Hill Fort where cycling isn't allowed.

Serven House has been here since before 1600 and has been a pub, stables, and hostel next to a ford on the River Severn.
It was a stop-off point for horse-drawn barges that travelled down the river.
Outside Serven House is the old A5 built by Thomas Telford, liking London with Holyhead. This road was a toll road that opened in the 1700s, and a toll house is still at the top of the drive. 

Today, there is a new A5 road, meaning that the road by Severn House is much quieter these days.

Being next to the river, this is a great campsite for canoeing or fishing, and there are lots of walks and attractions in the area.
Note: it is not recommended to have young children on pitches next to the river.

Ebury Hill is a 3000-year-old Iron Age hill fort just outside of the historic town of Shrewsbury in Shropshire.

Want to relax by a lake or take up a spot of fishing, then Colehurst Lake is for you.
Colehurst Lake has two spring-fed pools, Colehurst Lake itself and Maylea Pool, which were originally formed in 1990 and have been restored over the last three years to allow the re-establishment of a commercial fishery.
Stocked with Carp, Roach and Pike & Perch either water is a great place to come sit, unwind and do a spot of fishing.

Remember - life is better around a campfire.
