Water Sports

With our very own private sandy beach, Sandgreen is perfect for water sport enthusiasts. If you have your own boat you can launch it FREE while staying with us. You are also free to enjoy the beach with any kayaks, windsurfs and canoes. It is perfect for swimming and rock pooling - it will keep the kids entertained for hours!

There is so much to see and do around Sandgreen you will be spoilt for choice. For the adrenalin junkie, there are lots of outdoor activities at the Galloway Activity Centre, 7stanes mountain biking trails and Laggan Outdoor. There’s plenty for the kids with The Cream O’Galloway, Mabie Farm Park, and The Cocoa bean Chocolate Factory. The Market and Food town of Castle Douglas and Artist and Harbour Town of Kirkcudbright provide lots of great eateries, galleries and local shopping. We have so much in Dumfries and Galloway it would be impossible to name them all but there truly is something for everyone!

Child Friendly

We want to make the little ones feel at home too! We have a variety of baby/toddler equipment available on request (subject to availability). Please contact us if you would like us to provide any of the following items; highchairs, travel cots (please bring your own bedding), plastic cups, plates, bowls and sink step stools.

Dog Friendly

Well behaved dogs are very welcome in our hire fleet; they even have their own exercise area on the park where they can run free! Dogs can also run free on the beach before 8 am and after 9 pm. There is an additional charge of £20 per week per dog (2 max) Please note that they cannot be left unattended in the holiday home.
