Presthaven Touring Park is part of the Presthaven holiday park and enables you to stay with your own caravan, motorhome, or camper van.
There’s a free shuttle bus to and from the main facilities. It’s next to the sandy beach.

We were very impressed when we stayed at Presthaven in North Wales. Yes, the glorious weather helped, but with miles of sandy beaches plus enough activities for the kids to do, this is on the list of places to go back to.
Unfortunately, the touring park doesn’t accept tents. We visited with our caravan and booked a Europitch. This is a very large pitch with hardstanding for your caravan or motorhome, and comes with electricity, water, waste water drainage, and tv aerial point.

The freshwater hooked up to our Aquaroll, which I got an adapter for so that it would automatically refill with water.
This was the first time I’d used a fully serviced pitch. It was great not having to re-fill the aquaroll each day, so I’ll be booking one of these again in the future 🙂
Although the toilet block doesn’t look much from the outside, inside it was modern and clean, with good hot showers.

The facilities didn’t look much from the outside, but they were all modern fittings, great showers, and kept very clean.
The touring park also has its own pub that opens at weekends, though you can also get a free shuttle bus to and from the main facilities.

The touring park also had its own little pub. There’s a free shuttle bus too to take you to the main complex.
Right next door to the touring park is the walk down to the sandy beach. Here there are lots of sand dunes to explore, and then miles of sandy beach when the tide is out. Though of course, there are places with soft mud, so keep an eye on the kids. You don’t want to get stuck when the tide comes in!

There are plenty of dunes to explore too!

When the tide is out there’s miles and miles of sand
As you would expect with a Haven holiday park, there’s lots of activities to keep the kids entertained.

- If you fancy some sea-side fish and chips, that’s at Presethaven too, though it’s hidden around the back of the main complex
-
- We were on a fully serviced Euro Pitch, which has a hardstanding, fresh water, electricity, TV aerial point, and wastewater drainage.
