Lakeside Caravan and Camping Park is in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park and the Black Mountains and sat right next to Llangorse Lake.

The park accommodates caravans, motorhomes, and tents.  It also has some static caravans available for hire.

The site also has a shop and pub, and the usual facilities.

You can hire a range of different craft, including paddleboards, or bring your own.  There's also water skiing on the lake.

If hiring, buoyancy aides are also provided, making this an ideal place for family camping and getting on the water.

The lake itself has steeped in history, with an iron age man-made island, which had also been a royal residence in medieval times, and an accent canoe from AD800.

Trericket Mill is a vegetarian B&B, bunkhouse hostel, self-catering eco-cabin and campsite in the Brecon Beacons, close to Hay-on-Wye, the Black Mountains and the Welsh Marches.

The campsite, also known as River Cabin Camping, is small but beautiful, offering a handful of pitches spread over separate areas: by the little stream, in the old cider orchard and in the meadow behind the bunkhouse. This makes the campsite feel cosy and private.

There is only one pitch for a small campervan (max. 6 m) so it is really just campers.
