Château Le Brevedent campsite, Normandy, France

Situated inland, Chateau Le Brevedent campsite is located amongst orchards and has its own lake (canoeing available on the lake).

Some facilities remain closed during low season.

Accommodation

Chateau Le Brevedent campsite has 140 grass pitches (some with shade) for tents and mobile homes. Pitch sizes are between 80m2 and 100m2. A maximum of 6 people per tent or 8 people per mobile home are permitted. Dogs are not allowed at Chateau Le Brevedent.

If you are bringing your own tent, then you can park your car next to your pitch (a limit of 1 car per pitch).

Also available at the park, if booked via Eurocamp, are a choice of 2-bedroom or 3-bedroom fully equipped static caravans. Some of these also have a decked terrace.

If you'd rather camp in a tent but don't want to bring your own, you can also hire a Eurocamp Safari Tent, which sleeps 6 people and has 2 bedrooms, sun loungers, and a fully equipped kitchen.

Swimming Pools and Activities

Chateau Le Brevedent has a small family pool and a small toddler pool (maximum depth of 40 cm), but there are no slides or chutes.

Note that, as with many pools in France these days, shorts style of swimming trunks are not allowed, neither are t-shirts, inflatables, and parental supervision is required at all times.

When it comes to parental supervision and water, some of the Eurocamp tents and Safari Tents are located near water.

When staying at Chateau Le Brevedent you get free Canoe Hire to paddle on the lake.

There are two playgrounds, a games room (with table tennis), a five-aside-football pitch, badminton, volleyball, and (since it is France), boules.

Other activities are in the area, such as Quad biking (13km away), Boat Trips (25km away), windsurfing (12km away), and dinghy sailing (21km away).

Cycle hire is available at the campsite during high season. This includes child bikes, child seats, and helmet hire.
