The Alps are a beautiful part of the country, and Camping Les Fontaines is surrounded by that beauty.
The campsite is set close to Lake Annecy, which is the second largest lake in France and is very popular for swimming and water sports.
Camping Les Fontaines includes two heated swimming pools and a restaurant.
Accommodation at Les Fontaines
If you book and stay through Eurocamp you can leave your camping gear behind (and so you could cut out the long drive and fly) and have a choice of two or three bedroom static caravans, or stay in their Classic Tent.
Some of the caravans have a decked terrace – ideal for an alfresco family meal and enjoying some local wine.
Pitches
If you decide to camp yourselves, either by a tent, caravan, or motor home, then Camping Les Fontaines has 170 grass and gravel pitches (between 80 and 100 square metres).
There is a maximum of 6 people per tent or 8 per mobile home, and you will not be able to park by your pitch.
What’s at the Campsite
The campsite has its own shop (open June-September), a restaurant (with kids menu), and a takeaway (pizzas, chips, etc.)
You can also get WiFi on site, so you could save on messages back home, but there is a charge and coverage is reported as patchy by reviewers.
For the kids, there’s a children’s disco and other family entertainment in the evening (July and August only).
There’s also a games room, a playground, and sports courts (football, badminton, volleyball).
Of course, you can’t forget the family swimming pools. There’s also a water slide for the over 7s. (Pools are closed during the middle of the day).
