Womerton Farm Campsite
Womerton Farm Campsite is based on the Long Mynd in Shropshire, with beautiful scenery and plenty of walks on the doorstep.
Our Review
This is a back-to-basics campsite. You're almost wild camping.
The only facilities are:
- Composting Toilets
- An outside sink/trough with a tap
And that's it. No showers. There is no electric hook-up. No wifi. And the mobile signal is a bit hit-and-miss.
And being in the hills, the site isn't that flat.
You can have campfires if you buy wood from them. When I visited, this was £5 for a massive bag of logs and kindling.
So, if you are interested in an adventure camp, an almost-wild-camping on the Long Mynd in Shropshire, then Womerton Campsite is a good find.
