Verwood Campsite
Verwood Campsite is in Dorset close to the Hampshire border, giving you easy access to many of the sights and attractions of the New Forest.
Our Review
We spent an enjoyable four nights at Verwood during our caravan challenge, visiting nearby Poole, Beaulieu, Bournemouth, and walking in the New Forest.
Verwood is located near the Dorset / Hampshire border and makes an excellent base for exploring the New Forest.
This is a medium-sized campsite, with plenty of grass and hardstanding pitches.
It is a Camping and Caravanning Club site, so facilities are excellent with friendly staff living on-site.
At the reception, there's a small on-site shop and a separate games room.
Facilities here are great (one of the best campsite showers we've had) and includes laundry, dishwashing, and chemical toilet waste disposal, along with the toilet and shower block.
For the kids, there's a very popular play park, and also another area fenced off for kids games, which was fitted with a junior badminton net when we visited.

If you have a dog, there's a dog walk, complete with dog litter bins.
When we visited, there was Fish and Chips on Saturday evenings and Takeaway pizza on Tuesdays.

Just down the road in Verwood is a Tesco Express and a Cooperative supermarket.
