Pen Y Bont Touring and Camping Park is situated 100 yards from Bala Lake, (Llyn Tegid) and is the perfect base for exploring and trying out the many activities that Bala and the Snowdonia National Park has to offer! We are a quiet and peaceful, family-run site which can offer families the perfect base to relax but also to explore all that the area has to offer with water sports, walking, cycling, mountain biking, paintballing, white water rafting and the Bala Lake Railway right on our doorstep. Only a short drive away is the National Slate Museum, Electric Mountain, Centre for Alternative Technology and King Arthur’s Labyrinth which are all perfect days out for all the family.

Large Pitch Restrictions
As we only have a limited number of tent pitches that can accommodate large tents we do ask for tent dimensions upon enquiry to enable us to find the best pitch to suit your needs. This is particularly true in the case of large pod-style tents and tents over 4.5 meters wide. Due to the limited number of pitches, we do advise booking in advance if you have a large tent.Campfire Details
We allow BBQ's onsite (as long as they are kept off the grass) and the local butcher will deliver fresh meat to the site daily for you and your family to enjoy. Campfires (off the grass) are permitted using compressed sustainable wood which doesn't spark which can be purchased at the onsite shop.Shower Details
There are a total of 8 showers (4 in the ladies and 4 in the gents) - all have hot water and are free to customers. They are open 24 hours a day. We also have a large family/disabled room which has a large shower and baby changing facilities.Electric Hook-ups
All caravan and motor home pitches have access to a 16 amp electrical hook up point. Electric hook up is available on a number of tent pitches. Electric hookup is included in the price of caravan and motor home pitches - Extra charge of £4 per night for tent pitch with electric hook up.Facilities
