Oxford Camping and Caravanning Club Campsite
Located just a mile from the historic Oxford City Centre, and just off the A34, this campsite is a convenient location for exploring Oxford and the surrounding area.
Our Review
The Oxford Camping and Caravanning Club's campsite is the most urban campsite we've stayed at, and not just on the #5CChallenge.
Oxford city centre is just about a mile down the road, and so we took a walk from the campsite into the heart of Oxford (though, there is a bus stop just outside the campsite if you don't want to walk).

As this is a city campsite, there's no shortage of places to eat nearby.

The campsite has grass pitches, many with electric hook-up.
The EHU at the Oxford campsite is 10amps.

The campsite is just off the A34 and so getting to it is quite easy, especially if you are towing a caravan.
There are also plenty of signs from the A34 that point out where the campsite is. However, if you are looking for the normal C&CC campsite entrance, you'll not easily spot it.
Instead, you want to pull into the Go Outdoors car park. Yes, that's right, the campsite is behind Go Outdoors!
