Northdown Farm
Northdown Farm is an area of land running from Osmington Hill down to what is known locally as 'Paradise Valley'. The valley is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is well served by footpaths and bridleways.
We open our farm for tent camping for a total of just 4 weeks in the year. We open first for the Whitsun half-term holiday, and then again in July. Accessed by a track down from the main road the campsite is quiet, secluded and safe for children. The farm runs up to East Hill (the North Down), from where there are amazing panoramic views over Dorset.
The site is run along very similar lines to its sister site, Eweleaze Farm. Like at Eweleaze, guests are able to choose their own pitch, so friends and families can camp in groups as they please and parking by your tent is allowed on most of the fields. There is loads of room for kids to run around, fly kites, play ball games and the like.
Campfires are allowed, adding to the atmosphere, and firewood is available from the farm shop.
