Maker Camping is a ‘wild basic site’ open from Easter to the end of Sept.

It is located on the beautiful Rame Peninsula, also known as Cornwall’s Forgotten Corner only 5 mins drive from the surf beach at Whitsand Bay. 

We welcome groups and families. We have showers and flushing toilets and a few basic compost loos on site.

The unspoilt site boasts a wide range of unusual flora and fauna including deer, owls and skylarks with camping in natural surroundings. Maker has a bar, gigs twice a month, a festival, gallery/ museum and visitors centre/cafe on site. Only 10 mins walk from beaches, pubs and cafes.

We are a short walk from the Villages of Kingsand and Cawsand where there are beaches, shops, pubs and cafes and a cash machine.
Millbrook is just down the hill with supermarkets, shops, fish and chips, cafe, newsagents and hardware and a cash machine.
Plymouth is just a ferry ride away from Cawsand or Cremyl. Visit the historic Barbican, Plymouth Hoe, Aquarium and shopping centre.

Looe Country Park caravan and campsite is around 3 miles from Looe town in the rolling hills. It is very peaceful and relaxing. We have large pitches so enough room for everyone .... and the dog. For a small site, we have a lot of green areas which are used for playing badminton, volleyball or gather for a BBQ. There is also a kids play area which we are growing. 

Campers if you need anything we have a small shop which has all the necessities and extra things for the kids to keep them entertained. We have a large heated toilet block with plenty of loos and shower cubical's. In the ladies, there are also hairdryers no charge. We also have a laundry room so you don't need to worry about the kids getting a bit muddy on a day out.
Our campsite is one of the few which allows caravans, camper vans of all shapes and sizes, motor- homes, trailer tents and tents. Also on-site, we have Static Caravans and pods.

Being on the south coast there are so many different beaches you could never get bored. Looe Country Park caravan and campsite is close to the small seaside resort of Looe which is popular with holidaymakers for its sandy family beach, fishing trips from the harbour, glass-bottom boat trips around Looe Island, shops, pubs and cafes serving Cornish pasties and delicious Cornish cream teas.

An invigorating walk westwards along the spectacular scenic coast path brings you to the picturesque fishing village of Polperro with its shops, cafes, fishing harbour, sandy beach and smugglers caves. If you walk eastwards you will come to the beach of Seaton which is amazing for rock pools and a great doggie beach.

This lovely part of Cornwall has many beaches, hidden coves, country houses and gardens to explore and there are a host of tourist attractions and leisure opportunities for all the family.

Looe Country Park

Tencreek Cornwall holiday park is situated in what is believed to be one of the finest settings in the West Country. Tencreek offers a range of accommodation from caravan holiday homes to tents and touring pitches, with a restaurant and shop on site. 
Kids will love Deano the Dolphin's Club. With the help of his friendly Yellow Coats, Deano's club runs all morning. Kids can get their faces painted, play giant Jenga, do arts and crafts, and much more. If it's raining or cold outside, kids can play video games, take DJ lessons and dance classes. Under 3's can splash in the baby pool, or play in the soft-play area.

Tencreek Holiday Park

Seaview Holiday Village is a small and friendly caravan and chalet holiday park close to Polperro and Looe on Cornwall’s south coast, with a sea view across to Talland Bay. 

We’re under new ownership in 2016, and we’ve invested more than £500,000 in park improvements. We have added new luxury caravans, revamped our chalets and introduced a new entertainments team with kids clubs and an exciting programme of evening shows throughout the season.

As well as holidays in our caravans and chalets, we now offer a range of caravans for sale.

Facilities
Seaview is not big or brash, but we are perfect for a relaxing, friendly getaway. With an indoor pool, spa bath, steam room and sauna; a games room and playgrounds, there is plenty to enjoy during the day.

For children, we have launched two new kids clubs, with a dedicated team providing games, crafts and fun throughout the week. Mini Meerkats (for 0-5s) features interactive stories, messy mornings and games with our guest star Sandy the Meerkat. Lookout Club (for 5-12s), will get your children out and about discovering local wildlife, competing across a range of sports or trying their hand at brand new activities.

At night we have food, fun and cabaret in our clubhouse, and entertainment from guests acts and star performers alongside our brilliant team. 

There’s a hearty menu available in Schooners Restaurant and Bar and our own takeaway for those who want to stay in the comfort of their own holiday home.

For those who want to stay connected to the internet and social media during their break, we have park-wide wifi. 

Accommodation
Our impressive self-catering accommodation features great value options for couples and families, and there are pet-friendly options across the range.

Seaview’s range of modern static caravans are equipped with everything guests needs for a relaxing self-catering holiday, and there’s a selection of new 2016 models available. We have Comfort, Luxury and Superior grades with sleeping space for up to eight people in the three-bedroom options.
 
We also offer traditional chalets, which have had a revamp for the new season and now include electricity free of charge. There are one and two-bedroom chalets with the biggest accommodation sleeping up to six. Certain grades also include decked terraces and sea views.

In all our accommodation, we include linen and beds are made on arrival. 

Local attractions
The local seaside villages of Polperro and Looe are wonderfully atmospheric. Polperro is a former smuggler’s hideaway that has a pretty harbour and winding streets, and Looe is a historic port and fishing village with great big golden beaches.

There’s a whole host of activity providers within easy reach of Seaview. Popular excursions include boat trips from our local harbours, sea fishing, river tours and kayaking. There are many outstanding surfing specialists along the coast, and bodyboarding and stand-up paddle are also popular activities.

Seaview Holiday Village

We offer our guests a wonderfully unique holiday experience where you can relax and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.  
We offer short breaks or a week-long stay.   It’s ideal for a romantic tryst for two or a getaway for the whole family.  

Each yurt is furnished with solid oak furniture and has a king-sized bed and two futons for the children.  
There is plenty of storage for clothes and personal belongings.  Cosy rugs, a wood-burning stove and thick felt liners ensure that no matter what the weather outside, inside you are snug and warm.  

Each yurt also has its own private decked area with patio table and chairs where you can sit and watch the sunset in quiet seclusion.  It really is a magical way to spend a few nights away.
Each yurt also has a private heated shower room for your exclusive use.

Our fantastic barn facilities mean that our guests do not need to share kitchen or shower rooms because inside the barn the ‘Cowshed kitchen’ has three individual fully fitted kitchens, fully stocked with everything our guests need.  
There is plenty of space within the ‘Cowshed Kitchen’ to sit and relax on leather sofas or enjoy playing table football with other guests.  We also have a good selection of toys and games for the children, books and complimentary tea and coffee.  

Outside the barn, there is a large fire pit area with seating where you can have an open fire or enjoy a BBQ cooked over open flames.  
Children love to toast marshmallows or help with the BBQ.  
Alternatively, you can use our gas-fired BBQ and enjoy sharing your day's experiences with others around the open fire. 

Pick fresh herbs from our herb garden......or just sit and while away an hour or so enjoying a glass of wine sitting on the decked area outside the kitchen.
We have tried to think of everything to make your holiday special so we provide; rechargeable torches and lanterns, all your bedding and towels, first basket of logs, tea lights and lanterns, hot water bottles, free laundry facilities and even our own free-range eggs.

Fowey River Hire

Encounter Cornwall provides guided canoe trips for adults and children, as well as kayak hire. 

Trips are lead by an experienced kayaker, leading you around the Fowey Estuary, and maybe a two-hour or 3-hour trips. 3-hour trips include a 30-minute break.
Children must be aged three or older.
All buoyancy aids are provided.
