Situated 3 miles from St.Ives in Cornwall and 5 miles from Penzance in the beautiful, quiet Cornish countryside.
There are good walks, bike rides, and surfing all nearby.

Lower Penderleath Farm has both a campsite (open Easter until October) and a hostel. 
The campsite accepts tents and small campervans only.  This is a quiet family camping, with a quiet period from 10 pm.

There are areas on-site to wash wet suits, as well as fridge freezer usage, hairdryers and mobile phone charging stations (small charge for hairdryers and mobile phone charging).

Campfires are allowed in fire buckets or fire bowls (you must bring your own firewood or charcoal).

At the hostel, there's a communal fire bowl in the yard.

Cornwall

Ayr Holiday Park is only a short distance from the town centre and beaches of St Ives, being only 1/2 a mile. 
This is 5 Pennant AA holiday park.

With both camping, touring, static caravans, apartments, and the Garrack Hotel next door, there's accommodation for everyone at Ayr Holiday Park. 
All guests can use the facilities at the Garrack Hotel, which includes an indoor swimming pool and sauna (there is a small charge for the pool). 
Evening entertainment and meals are also available from the hotel.

If staying under canvas or touring with a caravan or motorhome isn't for your family, then have a look at the luxury static caravans. And if you are on an extended family break, some of the family can even stay in the hotel next door. 

If you are pitching your tent, then most pitches have views of the sea across St. Ives Bay. The camping field is sloping but has terraces to help keep your tent level.

For caravan tourers and motorhomes, there are both hardstanding and grass pitches with Electric Hook-Ups and water.
Gazebos and awnings are welcome, as long as it doesn't go onto the neighbouring pitch.

The location is great for families. The beach is just a 10-minute walk, plus there's a bus stop right outside the holiday park. 
If you and your family rather use wetsuits in the sea, then you can find wetsuit washing and drying facilities in the holiday park.

Ayr Holiday Park

Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world, and SUP in a Bag aims to make it accessible to the whole family.  SUP is easy to learn and in just a couple of hours, you and your family will be enjoying exploring Cornwall, splashing around, spotting the local wildlife, admiring the backdrop and sharing a memorable experience.

There are two options:-
For children over 10 take part in a Parent and Child fun taster session.  You will learn the basics of SUP while playing, laughing and getting wet.
For younger families, we have designed the Canoe / SUP Combo, a flexible package of mix and match where we design a 2-hour session for your family.  Choices include a short journey with lots of stops, crabbing, picnics and games or pick a base and just hang out near the shore messing about on the water.

Our instructors are qualified and hold 1st Aid Certificates and have many years of experience working with children.

Pendennis Castle is down towards the southernmost point of the UK in Cornwall overlooking the coast. 
King Henry VIII's built Pendennis Castle a coastal fortress overlooking the important port of Falmouth. It was still in use in more recent times and played a role in World War I.

Pendennis Castle has been voted one of the top ten English Heritage family attractions by visitors. 
There is both the castle's medieval past to explore and the gun emplacements of the First World War.

Get back to nature at Pleasant Streams Farm Camping. We offer peaceful and tranquil camping in lovely rural surroundings at low prices. We have plenty of space on-site, pretty fields with a stream running through, a small lake with a rowing boat and an abundance of wildlife. Our site is very relaxed, we don't have set pitches so you can pitch your tent where you choose and we allow campfires so it's like camping used to be.

We have two cute 2 berth caravans to hire in their own private field. A retreat from it all! 

On our site you can see owls, hawks, buzzards, herons, jays, rabbits, foxes, badgers, field mice, trout in the stream or meet our friendly animals, the miniature goats Matilda and Snowflake, our miniature pigs Rodney and Del Boy and our Chickens and Ducks. We sell the Duck and Chicken eggs for your breakfast as well as a selection of plants.

We are in a little hamlet near to the village of Sticker, which is a 10-minute walk away. Sticker has a picturesque country pub, the Hewas Inn, a shop and a children's play park.
The nearest town is St Austell, only 2 miles away, where all major supplies can be obtained, ie petrol, supermarket goods etc.

We are only 3 miles from stunning coastline, beautiful sandy beaches, rugged cliffs and out-of-the-way coves, making us an ideal base for walking, exploring and cycling (Pentewan has an excellent bike trail running alongside a river). The north coast is a surfing Mecca with its large beaches and is only a 30-minute drive away.

Our ethos is simple and natural. Therefore we have no clubhouse or constant traffic noise and we are a real escape from everyday pressures. We offer simple water, shower and toilet facilities and plenty of space to enjoy your holiday. Children are welcome, but due to the local wildlife, unfortunately, no pets are allowed.
