Gwerniago is a quiet campsite in rural Mid-Wales, not far from the Snowdonia National Park, and just 3 miles from Machynlleth.

It provides non-electric and electric pitches, including hardstanding. 

Awning and pup tents are included in the price as long as they fit within the pitch.

A static caravan is also available to hire.

Llyn Clywedog Sailing Club

Llyn Clywedog is a little-known big lake in the heart of Wales.  A great place for sailing or exploring in a canoe.

A family-run business in the secluded hills of Mid Wales. Families can relax and strengthen bonds in a screen-free environment full of outdoor adventures. 

We have 7 structures spread over 8 acres with each structure having its own outdoor space as well as large communal areas. 

The site has both open ground and woodland and is bordered by streams teeming with wildlife and birds. 

Children can run and shout and make their own fun, or they can try out the games in our communal yurt or the treasure hunt (includes an adults' one). 

Campfires, barbeques and outdoor cooking is encouraged! 

We also offer visits to our beehives (weather-dependent) and fish passes for the local fish farm.

Nantcol Waterfalls has seven acres of flat camping pitches right next to the river, with waterfalls just a short walk up from the campsite. 
As well as camping, glamping and cottages are available.

Rhaeadr Nantcol Waterfalls Campsite

The perfect site for a relaxing retreat in the heart of the Mid Wales country site. We take a laid back approach to camping, allowing guests to pitch where they please and take as much room as they require, whether it's along the beautiful banks for the River Severn, on one of the well-kept paddocks with access to electric points or hidden away amongst trees, shrubs and wild grasses.

This paired with the option of a campfire or fire pit and new high standard facilities will make anyone's stay unforgettable.
Our campsite makes the ideal base to explore the beautiful Mid Wales scenery. There is plenty to do with scenic walks, bird watching, golf, pony trekking, clay pigeon shooting and bicycle hire all nearby. We offer free fishing on site along the river - this extends through the fields, which proves very popular with guests and the historic market town of Llanidloes is located half a mile away, where you can find a range of restaurants and pubs, as well as a weekly market and small independent shops. 
Dol Llys is also a working beef and sheep farm and campers are welcome to feed the animals and watch the farm activities throughout the season, which includes activities such as lambing, shearing and harvest. If you are lucky you can also witness calf's being born.
Facilities on-site include toilets and showers. 

We have recently completed a new shower block with 3 private and heated rooms, which include a shower, sink and toilet. There is also a large washing up area and space for hairdryer use etc. 
The Campers Kitchen, situated in a converted barn, this was completed in 2003 and houses seating and eating space, a fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle all free of charge. 
There is also a small tourist information area located here.
