Fforest Fields Caravan & Camping Park, Powys
Fforest Fields is a family-oriented campsite that spans seven acres and set in beautiful countryside at the heart of mid-Wales near the town of Builth Wells.
The site is nestled in a rural valley surrounded by rolling hills. Lakes, woodlands, and moorlands are all available to explore from the site.

We highly recommend Fforest Fields - good facilities, campfires, and even canoeing. A great place for families.

This is a well-maintained site, with lots of different pitches, from hardstandings to grassy areas.

The landscaping is very good, with small streams and trees creating privacy and making the site feel smaller than it is.
Excellent Facilities

It must be mentioned that Fforest Fields has excellent facilities.
The showers are free, but not only free, but they are also excellent. The facilities would not be amiss at a very good leisure centre, and not your typical campsite.
There are also dedicated family bathrooms, which is great if you have to clean little ones.
The campers kitchen contains freezers, fridges, microwave, and phone charging points. As well as washup sinks.
It is not only the showers that Fforest Fields excels in. It has a good laundry, a drying room, a small shop for essentials (open with an 'honesty box' if no one is in the office), and a camper's kitchen with fridges and freezers - plus a very handy microwave.
Another great idea at Fforest Fields is the mobile phone charging in the Camper's Kitchen, where you can lock your phone away whilst it charges. Again, another great free service that makes camping here great.
Activities - Try Canoeing or do some Mountain Biking
You don't even need to leave the campsite to 'get out with the kids' and get active as Fforest Fields has its own boating lake, along with canoes and paddles you can use (donation required - buoyancy aids must be worn and everyone must be able to swim).
There are also a number of farm trails that have been made available for mountain biking.
