Conkers Campsite is located in the National Forest of South Derbyshire.
There are plenty of walks and cycle routes right from the campsite. The Conkers discovery centre is also just around the corner.

The Conkers Campsite was another great stay for us at a Camping and Caravanning Club Site.
We visited in the October half term. Instead of a tent, we took ‘Casper’, the caravan.
Conkers isn’t a large campsite, but it’s a lot bigger than some of the smaller Club sites. Pitches are of a generous size, and the place is well cared for and maintained.
For the kids, there’s a play park and an area for ball games. The site was also quiet and many of the children enjoyed riding their bikes or scooters around the campsite without fear of traffic.
This is a great campsite to bring bikes as there are plenty of cycle routes right from the campsite. If you don’t have bikes, then there are also plenty of walks too, with plenty of pushchair-friendly paths. See the Conkers Circular Walk we’ve published and also the Moira Heritage Walk.
A short walk from the campsite you’ll find the Conkers Discovery Centre.
We really enjoyed our stay at Conkers Campsite. It’s another favourite campsite and I’m sure we’ll be back again.
This campsite is open all year.
