Colehurst Lake is the perfect place to escape, discover and unwind. Set in the idyllic and beautiful countryside of Shropshire we are surrounded by fields and woodland.

Colehurst lake, a family friendly Glamping, Wedding Venue & Fishery, is managed by Holly and Nick who will ensure your experience here is a pleasant and enjoyable one.

If you've ever wanted to camp but do not have all the gear, want somewhere where you can just 'pitch up' and the tent is already up with all the equipment you need then Colehurst Lake is for you. We wanted to set up 'ready made' tents to allow people to experience camping at its best, without having to buy and bring all of the gear - then set it all up! These tents come with almost everything you could possible need for an off grid camping trip. The only thing you need to bring is bedding and your food & drinks.......

Want to pitch your own tent up and not worry that someone else is going to pitch up right next to you then Colehurst Lake is for you. We are a small, quiet site and wish to keep it this way for us all to enjoy! The difference between us and other campsites is that we only allow a limited number of people on site at any one time. You will not be sited close to anyone else. Our aim is to provide a secluded location, allowing your to enjoy your own space, listening to the birds and watching the natural world around you.

Want to relax by a lake or take up a spot of fishing, then Colehurst Lake is for you. Colehurst Lake has two spring-fed pools, Colehurst Lake itself and Maylea Pool, which were originally formed in 1990 and have been restored over the last three years to allow the re-establishment of a commercial fishery. Stocked with Carp, Roach and Pike & Perch either water is a great place to come sit, unwind and do a spot of fishing.
