Capel Tygwydd Camping and Caravans
Capel Tygwydd Camping and Caravans is in the rural countryside of Ceredigion, and not far from the town of Cardigan, and friendly farmer Gordon will welcome you and your family. Glamping is also available in an airstream caravan.
Our Review
We enjoyed a good week's camping at Capel Tygwydd Camping and Caravans.

The campsite has plenty of space with both grass pitch and grass pitch with electric.
The site is located on a hill, with views down into the valley. I saw this cloud inversion early in the morning when all the clouds gather in the valley below.

The campsite's facilities are in container units and we found were kept clean and tidy.
In addition to toilets and showers, there are two washup locations, plus some fridges and a microwave. There's also some local produce for sale.
In the Area
Just down the hill from the campsite is a village with some places to eat. There's also a walk to a waterfall.
Not far is the larger town of Cardigan. It's worth visiting the Pizza Tipi there but do book ahead.
Pizza Tipi at Cardigan makes fresh pizzas. In the evening firepits are lit.
Another favourite place of ours we visited is Porthgain.
There are some good walks up to the headland, and a great place to catch an awesome sunset.

To eat, the old Sloop Inn is worth a visit, especially on a sunny day.
We also visited further afield to St. Davids and had an excellent tour around Ramsey Island on a speed boat.
Finally, another place we visited that's not too far away is New Quay. There are beaches there, ice creams, and plenty of places to catch a bite to eat.
The beach at New Quay is not too far from the campsite.
