Burnbake Campsite is a quiet, secluded site, situated amongst beautiful woodlands which have a stream running through. It is perfect for campers who want a holiday away from the hustle and bustle and are looking for a place to relax and unwind. Children love exploring in the woods and playing in the stream whilst their parents can rest with the knowledge that they are safe. We leave it to you to choose where you'd like to pitch - all our pitches are level. Some campers like to position themselves amongst the trees whilst others prefer the grassy areas which have natural divisions offering privacy.
Large Pitch RestrictionsWe do not have any large pitch restrictions as such, however, if your tent is extra-large or you have pitched in a selfish manner that we will charge you an extra fee (£2-£4 depending on the time of year).
Campfire DetailsCampfires are allowed as long are they are in a metal container and raised off the ground. We are situated in a high fire risk area, surrounded by forest and heathland and have peat soil on-site, all in all rather flammable! Please also put used ash in the wheelbarrow at the bins, and not just on the ground, any heat left in it could cause the peat to catch fire.
Shower DetailsWe have 4 showers for both the ladies and gents facilities and then a separate unisex block holding another 6 showers. They are operated by push taps and are all hot.
Electric Hook-upsWe have 4 electric hookups, they are on a first-come-first-served basis.
We open for the Easter bank holiday and then stay open until the end of September. We have a staggered pricing structure with 3 seasons; low, mid and high. the basic pitch fee for a tent, a car and one adult is £8-10 per night depending on the season.
